Greg Wurtz

CONSULTING PARTNER, HEALTHCARE

I lead Think Data Group's Healthcare vertical. My background at IQVIA and ValueCentric provided a keen understanding of how to help players in the pharmaceutical industry leverage data to drive sales and profitability. Since 2011, I've collaborated with healthcare industry stakeholders to make better business decisions, evolve existing products, and design new ones by accessing and analyzing quality data sets.

Since 2011, I’ve made advanced commercial analytics useful and tied to business goals, which often requires my business storytelling and strategic thinking strengths. Because I used to be an advanced user of data assets when I managed marketing programs, I know how to tie data to everyday business applications and customer solutions. In speaking the language of the business (rather than tech and specs) and objectively clarifying what matters, I’m viewed as a trusted business partner who uncovers the underserved needs of some of the largest global pharmaceutical companies. I enjoy the moment when customers can tell from my line of questioning, “This guy understands me!”

Operating as a business sociologist of sorts, I’ve developed an inquiry process that discerns individual, group, and organizational problems. My approach gives me a window into the universal truths across a customer portfolio, and I can synthesize what I learn and define what we need to accomplish.

You may not know: I'm a long-time maritime history buff and sailing enthusiast. I'm enjoying being part of the team that's opening the Wood Island Life Saving Station Museum in 2024.
